TRIATHLON TRAINING PLANS

For Olympic, 70.3 (Half Ironman) & Iron Distance

Triathlon is a multi-discipline sport consisting of swimming, cycling and running.

It is a great sport to keep active, and by taking on the three elements of swimming, cycling and running you can keep training interesting, fun and varied.

In Triathlon you can compete at a variety of different distances. Sprint (750m, 20k, 5k), Olympic (1500m, 40k, 10k), 70.3 Half Ironman (1900m, 90k, 21k) and Ironman (3800m, 180k, 42k)

Whichever your chosen distance the key part of your preparation is regular and consistent training in each of the sports that make up the Triathlon.

"Research has shown that you are twice as likely to reach your goals if you have a structured plan"

The plans developed for Triathlon are created in Training Peaks. This puts the plan into a calendar accessible on any device, and giving you specific training zones based upon your own personal threshold.

The cycling sessions are all created as Structured Workouts which means they can be exported to some Garmin & Wahoo headunits, Zwift, Rouvy or Trainerroad.
